The Alachua County Republican Executive Committee is the governing body of the Republican Party in Alachua County, Florida. The committee is made up of one or two precinct committeemen and committeewomen (depending on the precinct size) from each precinct.
Any Republican may join the Republican Executive Committee as long as their precinct is not already filled. The requirements to join include attendint 2 consecutve meeting, an orientation and to be sponsored by another member.
The Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer are then elected by the precinct committeemen and committeewomen to run the day-to-day operations of the Republican Executive Committee.
The State Committeeman and the State Committeewoman are elected at large by registered Republicans, in the county, during the primary election every four years.
The Chairman, the Vice-Chairman, the Secretary and the Treasurer, along with the State Committeeman and the State Committeewoman make up the Executive Board of the Alachua County Republican Executive Committee.
The Chairman, the State Committeeman and the State Committeewoman are also voting members of the Republican Party of Florida.
